Abstract: Methods to find structures in point sets generally assume the sets are homogeneous, unlike most (all?) sky-survey catalogs. This paper discusses my work in progress, where I aim to adapt methods or manipulate catalogs to identify real structures in describably-inhomogeneous surveys, in particular, to seek supercluster-scale structures traced by AGN at high redshifts in wide-field surveys like the SDSS (York et al. 2000).
