Abstract: Cosmological models of the sources of gamma-ray bursts can be tested by comparing the model predictions with the observed burst intensity distribution. Strong testing of these models requires data on the intensity distribution of bursts over a wide intensity range, extending down to the dimmest bursts in the flux range < 0.2 ph cm-2s-1, which is well below the BATSE triggering threshold. We present new statistics of the dimmest gamma-ray bursts in this intensity range, which were obtained from 500 days of DISCLA data by a special project of post-flight detection.
