Abstract:	We have used the MERLIN array to image Galactic neutral hydrogen in absorption toward the three compact, extragalactic continuum sources 3C 161, 3C 111, 3C 123. Here we present evidence of Galactic HI absorption structure on angular scales of 150 mas toward 3C 123.
