Abstract: Massive stars orbiting the center of our Galaxy have provided the best evidence yet of a supermassive black hole. In this contribution, I will focus on what these massive stars’ orbits tell us about the central black hole’s properties as well as the problems associated with having massive young stars in the vicinity of a black hole.
