Abstract: The improved galaxy grouping algorithm of Nolthenius and White (1987) has been used to reassign the elliptical galaxy sample of Lynden-Bell et al. (1988) to groups and study how this affects the 'Great Attractor' flow model solution. The findings suggest that the new group assignments are not likely to produce a significant drop in the derived field velocity dispersion, and that the old group assignments are not, on average, seriously in error.
