| Abstract: |
Three current programs of OB spectral classification with optical digital data are described and illustrated. A comprehensive reference atlas of standard spectra, and a smaller atlas of peculiar emission-line categories, are in preparation based upon data from the CTIO 1-meter photon-counting system. An extensive investigation of faint stars in the field of 30 Doradus, by means of the AAT multiple-object, fiber-optics photon-counting system, has doubled the known OB stellar content of the region and revealed a number of new luminous, reddened objects of particular interest. |
