Abundances derived from spectroscopic analysis of WR stars are critically discussed. These analyses strongly support the scenario that observations of WN stars reveal matter processed by the CNO nuclear burning cycle at the stellar surface, while WC stars show the products of He burning. Line formation and the ionization of WR envelopes are discussed. |
