| Abstract: |
This paper discusses the noise performance of some recently designed and processed 1024 x 1024 CCD imagers. The devices were specifically fabricated to evaluate some new techniques for reducing noise in CCD amplifiers preparatory to making the 2048 x 2048 devices for the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph. Noise of less than 3 e- rms has been achieved on at least one device. |
