Abstract: A prototype CCD-TV camera has been built at CTIO, conceptually similar to the cameras in use at Lick Observatory. A GEC CCD is used as the detector, cooled thermo-electrically to -45C. Pictures are displayed via an IBM PC clone computer and an ITI image display board. Results of tests at the CTIO telescopes are discussed, including comparisons with the RCA ISIT cameras used at present for acquisition and guiding.
