| Abstract: |
A Tektronix CCD has been used to run Hartmann optical tests on the Hale 5-meter mirror. Test results are presented and the advantages of CCDs over plates for this application are discussed. Chief among these is the immediate availability of the images for reduction, allowing real-time interactive optical testing. |
