Abstract: Many of the R Coronae Borealis (RCB) stars, and other related hydrogen deficient carbon stars have been observed, to more fully investigate their photometric and spectroscopic properties. A provisional period-temperature relationship for these stars is discussed. The observed relationship is generally consistent with evolutionary models for RCB-type stars evolving toward higher temperatures.
