Abstract: |
A method is developed that permits a reliable comparison between the theoretical and the observational star distribution functions of the M15 horizontal branch. This numerical algorithm enables the evaluation of the distance modulus, color excess, mass distribution function, the best fit between theoretical and observational planes, and the evaluation of the confidence range of the computed parameters. |
