Abstract: The giant branch of galactic dusters (Terzan clusters) have been studied using the IRCAM at the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope. A preliminary color-magnitude diagram of one of these objects (Terzan 2) has been obtained to study these clusters relative to clusters with known metallicities and ages to determine independent estimates for the distances, ages and metallicities of the clusters. These clusters are particularly important as they are among the most metal-rich members of the so called disk component of the globular cluster system, and they are located in a direction very close to the galactic center, hence observations are particularly difficult due to interstellar obscuration.
