The composition of galactic clusters can now reveal information about the evolution of the galactic disk because of a new level of precision in stellar abundance determinations. Many parameters such as age, metal content, stellar rotation influence the light element abundances. The significance of various parameters can be determined from the chemical composition of stars in clusters. |
