Abstract: Abundance ratios for Fe group elements and Si have been determined from a reanalysis of the spectra of 30 giants in globular clusters. Full consideration of the hyperfine structure was made for lines of the odd elements. Differences between Fe abundances deduced from neutral and singly ionized lines are clearly correlated with overall metallicity. This correlation is briefly discussed in connection with uncertainties in reddening and effective temperature estimates, model atmospheres, and departures from LTE. On the whole, stars in globular clusters have the same pattern of abundances of Fe-group elements of metal poor field stars; there are marginal evidences that cluster stars have slightly larger overabundance of Si and underabundance of Mn. Rather large Si excesses have been found in M 4 and M 5.
