Abstract: X-ray observations give us a direct view of galaxian components that would otherwise remain unknown. These components include the end products of stellar evolution, the hot phase of the interstellar medium, and phenomena related to nuclear activity. Here, comparisons of X-ray and radio continuum data are presented, which suggest the possibility of a link between the emission in these two wavebands.
