Abstract: A method for image reconstruction in radio telescopes using self-calibration is presented for the case of a nonisoplanatic atmosphere. While computation intensive, most of the computations consist of calculating the model visibilities and the solution of nonlinear equations, and the method is suitable for implementation on parallel processors.
