Abstract: High resolution OVRO CO 1-0 observations of the LINER galaxy NGC 5218 reveal a centrally peaked molecular concentration with extensions that align with the inner 30″ (5.7 kpc) IR bar. The molecular mass is 2.4×109 MSolar and the inner gas surface density is high with ΣH2 ∼ 3000 MSolar pc−2. The single dish HCN/HCO+ ratio is > 1 supporting the notion that the LINER activity is AGN driven (Kohno 2001).
