| Abstract: |
A robotic system has been designed to search for the occultations of stars by comets in the Oort Cloud. The system employs a series of small cameras to follow the shadow of a comet as it moves along the surface of the earth. Since the expected event rate is extremely low, particular care is needed to ensure a very low rate of false alarms. |
