Abstract:	Taking into consideration the amount and the complexity of SIMBAD data, it is necessary to use automatic methods to control and assure the quality of the SIMBAD database. One possibility is to apply multivariate data analysis to the content of documents related to astronomical data. The method and first results are presented.
