Abstract: |
The Space Astrophysics Laboratory (SAL) at the Institute for Space and Terrestrial Science has compiled various libraries of procedures and functions written with the Interactive Data Language (IDL--IDL is a registered trademark of Research Systems, Inc.). Of particular interest to astronomers and programmers is the SAL Compound Widget Library (SALCW). This library contains various Graphics-User Interfaces (GUI) that can be inserted into existing applications with great ease to simplify programming. This particular library will be discussed and examples of its use will be presented. Other programmers or GUI-developers are encouraged to make extensive use of SALCW. |
