| Abstract: |
The software developed for the Low Resolution Imaging Spectrometer built for the Keck 10 meters telescope is described. Various modules enable pre-observation planning, including assignment of multi-slits and interaction with the multi-slit punching machine. The remaining software modules provide for control of the instrument's motors, multiple amplifier interleaved data acquisition from CCD detectors, and quick look data display and analysis. Performance of the instrument's software during its commissioning observing runs will be discussed. |
