Abstract: We present results from VLA centimeter continuum observations, with subarcsecond angular resolution, toward IRAS 19156+1906 in L723, and toward IRAS 20050+2720. Both IRAS sources appear to be associated with quadrupolar molecular outflows, and in both regions there is a double radio continuum source near the IRAS position. In L723, one of the components of the radio source is angularly resolved and appears to be a radio jet, responsible for the excitation of only one of the two lobe pairs of the molecular outflow, while the other radio source appears to be unrelated to the outflow excitation. The double radio source associated with IRAS 20050+2720 could be a binary system in which each component powers an independent bipolar outflow. These results suggest that, both in L723 and IRAS 20050+2720, the observed quadrupolar structure is originated by the superposition of two independent outflows, with close centers, driven by two independent sources.
