Abstract: We present an extensive mapping study with ISOCAM of the remarkable bipolar outflow L1157. We find that H_2 rotational lines dominate in the flow at mid-infrared wavelengths, and reveal for the first time dust emission from the central cold protostellar source (Class 0) shortward of 60 microns. The implications of our results are briefly discussed.
