| Abstract: |
The galactic globular cluster IC 4499 contains 17 RRd (double-mode) stars as part of the complement of 97 RR Lyraes. A new photometric investigation has allowed accurate periods, period ratios and magnitudes to be determined for 16 RRd stars. These results are compared with the properties of RRd stars in other clusters and the LMC, and with predictions from pulsation and evolution theory. |
