| Abstract: |
The interpretation of IR-mm outbursts in blazars are discussed in terms of shock models. It is shown that in order to explain their rising phases which presumably occur in the transition between Compton stage and synchrotron state bulk acceleration of the bursting sources may need to be taken into account. Spectral tracks {S_m}({ν_m}) (S_m -turnover flux, ν_m- turnover frequency) for non-accelerating and accelerating sources are compared. |
