| Abstract: |
The favored model for the nucleus of M31 consists of an eccentric disk with an off-center density concentration. If the disk is in equilibrium, the requirement that it precess uniformly under self-gravity creates an observable feature in the rotation curve, which may be visible in current HST data. |
