Abstract: |
Mira-type variable stars (Miras) are an important link in the evolutionary chain connecting a solar type star to its final stages of evolution as a planetary nebula. We report here direct observation of structures in the vicinity of Mira, the prototype of the Mira-type variables, that could indicate early formation of an asymmetric outflow from an AGB star. |
