The different nebular components of the protoplanetary nebula CRL 618 have been studied through multiwavelength observations. Here we summarize some results obtained from our study of the shock-ionized optical nebula and molecular envelope of CRL 618 and provide a qualitative view of the evolution with time of the nebular material. |
