Abstract: Infrared spectra of a large sample of (ultra)compact HII regions (UCHII), Herbig Ae/Be stars, post-AGB stars and PNe are obtained with the ISO-SWS spectrograph on board ISO. These data show a wealth of infrared emission features attributed to Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs). Here we focus on three topics, i.e. the new detection of an emission plateau between 15-20 micron and the 16.4 micron feature, the rich 11-15 micron region with the detection of two new features at 13.6 and 14.2 micron and finally the variation in the 6 to 9 micron PAH spectrum.
