Abstract: |
SN 1604 was first discovered in Europe by two Italians. In China the Supernova was discovered one day later and 3—4 days later in Korea. Chinese and Korean astronomers carried out systematic and detailed observations for nearly one year of which plentiful and precious historical records remain. Copies of the original historical records, both from China and Korea, and the light curve of SN 1604 deduced from them are shown here. |
