Abstract: |
This lecture is an introduction to radio imaging at millimeter and sub-millimeter wavelengths. The emission from interstellar sources and the absorption by the Earth's atmosphere are briefly discussed. The basic concepts of instrumental transfer function, visibility, noise and image deconvolution are presented. |
