The next major release of the Chandra Interactive Analysis of Observations (CIAO 4.0) software package provides us the opportunity to reassess user interfaces and modernize infrastructure. We describe the new face of CIAO, the internal restructuring, the factors that led to the changes, and our vision for further development. |
