Access control is important for many areas of the Virtual Observatory and particularly for the AstroGrid system which exploits user-writeable, on-line storage. We describe AstroGrid's current arrangements for access control and outline the likely evolution of AstroGrid's system as IVOA develops standards for security arrangements. |
