Abstract: We investigate the evolution of the self-gravitating disk in a fixed axisymmetric halo with a torus of late cosmic infall that is tilted relative to the initial disk. This is an extension to the study by Shen & Sellwood (2006). We find that the magnitude of the warp is suppressed by a factor of ∼ 2 when the halo is moderately oblate while the magnitude of the warp periodically oscillates when the halo is moderately prolate.
