| Abstract: |
The Mexican manuscript of the “Leyenda de los Soles” is dated 22 May 1558, this refers to the year the great New Fire Ceremony should have taken place, had it not been forbidden by the Spaniards. The anonymous author of the manuscript introduced further in the document the names of two Suns completely unknown by other sources. The analyze of these dates shows the XVI. Century author wanted to forward a cryptic message concerning the structure of a cosmological construction based on the cycles of Venus and the nodes of Moon orbit, and gives precise information on the precise dates this ceremony should have taken place. |
