Abstract: MAXI, Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image, was attached to the Exposed Facility of the Japanese Experimental Module, Kibo, on the International Space Station on July 24, 2009. Continuous real-time contact with the ground stations enables us to monitor the real-time X-ray sky image, and send an Email alert automatically for a transient event such as a black hole X-ray nova. Here, we introduce the real-time X-ray transient monitor and alert system, and the current status of the MAXI ground software system for real-time processing.
