Abstract: |
I summarize the current status of ground-based helioseismic
observations, in particular the two operational networks GONG and
BiSON. I then discuss requirements for continued and future
ground-based observations based on key science drivers, finishing with
a discussion of SPRING, a proposed future high-spatial-resolution
network that would provide helioseismic data and a broad range of
synoptic data products. |
