Abstract: |
IPython notebooks are becoming a popular and viable approach for
documenting data analysis procedures and helping produce open,
reproducible science. Recent developments in the IPython project allow
notebooks to be published and viewed on the web, providing a nearly
seamless transition from data analysis to publication. In this talk we
will review and demonstrate the ipython notebook as a data analysis
tool, and show how graphical FITS image interaction can be integrated in
the workflow to simplify some cumbersome tasks. |
