Abstract: |
As we approach launch the Gaia ground segment is ready to process a
steady stream of complex data coming from Gaia at L2. This talk will
focus on the software engineering aspects of the ground segment. Of
course in a short paper it is difficult to cover everything but an
attempt will be made to highlight some good things, like the Dictionary
Tool and some things to be careful with like computer aided software
engineering tools. The usefulness of some standards like ECSS will be
touched upon. Testing is also certainly part of this story as are
Challenges or Rehearsals so they will not go without mention. |
