Abstract: The Indo-Russian collaboration is a joint venture between the astronomers of India (ARIES) and Russia (SAO and INASAN) to develop scientific and technical interactions by making use of observational facilities. Here we present the results obtained after the “Magnetic Conference” that was held in the Special Astrophysical Observatory, Russia in 2010. The analysis of time-series photometric CCD observations of HD 98851 shows a pulsation period of 1fh55, which is consistent with the period reported previously. We have also found a signature of short-term periodic variability in HD 207561. The analysis of high-resolution spectroscopic and spectropolarimetric observations of the sample stars revealed characteristics similar to Am stars, hence the excitation of the low-overtone pulsations are expected in these stars.
