Abstract: [CII] 158 rm μm is an excellent probe of star formation activity of high-z galaxies. Recent observations show interesting features such as line deficit of (U)LIRGs and even non-detection for the UV luminous galaxies at z > 6. Theoretical approach holds promise in order to reveal the statistical properties of the high-z [CII] emitters. We develop theoretical model of [CII] emitters by combining a two-phase ISM model and large cosmological hydrodynamic simulations. Our model explicitly calculates the effect of dust attenuation of FUV radiation field (G0) using the three-dimensional distribution of the star and gas elements in the simulated galaxies. Our model reproduces observational correlation between [CII] luminosity and star formation rate at low-redshifts. We discuss the detectability of high-z [CII] emitters with ALMA by using ALMA OT. The results can be compared with near future observations.
