Abstract:	Based on IRAS PSC/FSC Joint Catalogue of 345,163 IR sources and their characteristics, we have created a smaple of IRAS-selected candidate galaxies, 145,902 objects (42.3 %). This sample provides a unique opportunity to statistically investigate IR galaxies for many of their physical parameters. For 16,533 galaxies we have SDSS photometric data (ugriz magnitudes and corresponding colors) and almost for all objects we have WISE data. Building color-color diagrams allows understanding the nature of these galaxies and group them into individual subsamples for further detailed studies.
