Abstract: More and more studies support the idea that close binaries exist in multiple star systems. By combining sky survey data (e.g., TESS, Gaia, LAMOST, etc.), photometric observations and solutions, low-dispersion spectral observations, light-travel time effect (LTTE), etc., we have determined the physical and orbital properties of some special multiple star systems. Our results may further indicate that the tertiary companions rotating around close binaries can provide valuable information on the formation of multiple star systems.
