Eclipse Ambassadors Off the Path has a mission to reach underserved audiences in communities off the path of the 2024 eclipse, those often overlooked by traditional engagement practices with the communities we're used to reaching. Hear about the development and approach of partnering diverse undergraduates with amateur astronomers and how a suite of methods including recruiting, incentives, training, and support of undergraduates make this a program that has welcomed a large number of diverse undergraduates reaching into their own communities with NASA science and the awe of eclipses. |
