Abstract: |
Astronomy education research in undergraduate classrooms continues to provide insights into how to improve our teaching and learning in science classrooms. We present the development of a new curricular model that leverages citizen science to provide data driven classroom experiences to undergraduate students. We implemented this model by designing classroom activities in two different scientific disciplines (undergraduate astronomy and biogeoscience courses) and assessed the impacts of participation on student self-efficacy. |
