The paper describes the aims and objectives behind the setting up of an Inter-University Centre in the field of astronomy and astrophysics in India. The services offered by the IUCAA library in keeping with the objectives of IUCAA are identified. The paper attempts to evaluate the impact of the library services on the research contributions of the university academics in India over a ten-year period. |
