| Abstract: |
The essential scientific products from the COBE mission will be a set of all-sky maps spanning four decades in wavelength with a variety of spatial and spectral resolutions. The instruments which generated these data are briefly reviewed and the concepts governing the design of the software system are described. We discuss several notable challenges encountered during development of the software system, and the chosen solutions. |
