Abstract: The "densified pupil" variant of a many aperture interferometer Fizeau interferometer can provide snap-shot images with full luminosity. It however requires an exit pupil where the sub-pupil centres are patterned like in the entrance aperture. I have sudied numerically the influence of the output pupil deformation on the recombined image. As the pupil distortion increases, the usable interferometric field shrinks. In practice, with a ring of 27 apertures sub-pupil position errors smaller than 5% effect negligibly the image.
