Abstract: The term blazar groups together two types of AGN that show violent behaviour: the Flat Radio Spectrum Quasars (FRSQs) and the BL Lac objects. The former, usually interpreted as beamed cores of FRII radio galaxies, are predominantly high luminosity sources, whereas the latter, usually associated with beamed cores of FRI radio galaxies, occur primarily at low luminosity. By using a deep survey of flat spectrum radio sources (CLASS) we are searching for low luminosity blazars and a possible unification between sources, that despite their similar violent behaviour, are thought to occur at different luminosity ranges.
